How I met Rubber Boots

I was first introduced to the joy of rubber boots at a young age by my Father, who if he could he would wear rubber boots everywhere. For a while I have distanced my self from the rubber boots, you know the stage I mean the stage when you are a young teen some people call it adolescence I like to call it adoannoying because at that stage you don't like anything and it's always rainning. But any way I left my boot on a shelf and didn't touch them again until this very year June 30 to be exact, and when I put them on SURPRISE they didn't fit I was sad, upset, and dissapointed. I felt all these things because these boots were some what special to me, then I had a light bulb moment! I had my own money! Canadian Tire was having a sale! So I did what any other self-respecting 20 year old person who lives at home could do, I got a drive into town. So here I was at Canadian Tire the meca of all things rubber and cool, the closer I got to the aisle I could smell the rubber, I could hear the angels singing then I saw them the Rubber Boots I found my size and tried them on. Oh the feeling of joy and coming home from a long trip was running through me, I had found my boots. I carried them carefully to the cash took out my Canadian Tire money and then my real money and paid for the rubber boots. My new boots and I are making lots of new memories at Canoe Cove Christian Camp so I may not have as much time to update this very often but I will try. So for the next while when I am not out with my boots I will be telling all of you about the good time I am having with my boots.
