Warnings

There are many warnings in our lives these days, for example: "update this blog or else", "don't put your finger in the light socket", "you are driving too fast, the cops will pull you over if you continue at your current speed of 71 in a 70 zone" (that's my personal favorite). Those warnings are all well and good, but they deal with our physical life on earth. Usually these warnings from the list above are given by a Mom or a Dad. As Christians we receive warnings from our heavenly Father, and these cannot be laughed off as easily as the light socket warning. The main warning that comes to my mind time and time again, is the warning of what will happen to the one's that we don't share our good news with: "that God does love you". That bit of news is just a small part of the story that needs to be told but that is how we should start the story, because there are people out there that believe the opposite. They think that because of what they have done God could never love them, so we need to tell them right from the start that God does love, and even though it was a long time ago that God's son was on the earth he still sent his son to show God's love to everyone.

  • Good point, I think we forget to warn people that Christ can come at any time and warn them that God has a plan for them.

  • Yes and that is the most hardest thing to do....to tell people!
